Yesterday was such a rollercoaster of a day. It was my one year anniversary with Beachbody. Not much makes me emotional, but something that has changed my life so much definitely brought some happy tears.
I was not always a believer. I was actually beyond 100% skeptic of everything Beachbody did. I completed INSANITY 2 times and never even really realized a company put it together. All I knew is that I wanted to be in the workouts with Shaun T and meet him. I never in my wildest dreams thought that would EVER come true, but a girl can dream right.
The word "coach" scared me beyond my wildest dreams. I'm shy. I don't have that many friends. I really don't have the money. It sounds too hard. I don't like cold calling people. I don't think i could even make money with this scam. If you think those excuses didn't come out of my mouth to my coach, you're wrong! I said them all. Over and over. Till I was blue in the face.
But I took that leap of faith. I trusted what he had to say and dove in head first. Clueless, but willing to learn. Thankful doesn't even describe my feelings towards that decision.
Within the first 4 months of being a coach, I was going on my first free Beachbody trip. We cruised from Florida to Cozumel and to the Grand Cayman Islands.
Let me just say. That was truly when I saw how amazing this company is and saw that that the word "coach" meant SO MUCH more than just making extra income. It meant helping others change their lives. This whole group of people who were on the boat weren't special in any way that I wasn't. We were all on the same boat with the same mission. Change Lives. Never Give Up. End The Trend.
After this trip, my whole view on "coaching" changed. I vowed to myself to not just seek anyone and everyone who would just listen to me talk. I am going to go high and low for anyone who wanted my help! No matter how big, how small, how insignificant it may be! Every little thing matters!
In June 2014, I gathered my free ticket to Coach Summit in Las Vegas, packed my bags, and flew by myself for the first time. Summit is an annual event Beachbody puts together to gather ALL coaches! You learn, grow, motivate, educate, meet, and workout with people whom you may or may not have ever seen before in your life. This is where I FINALLY got to meet my favorite coach ever, Kirstin! I also earned my ticket to get VIP pictures with the celebrity trainers again. Meeting Shaun T two times in one year, yeah--pretty breathtaking.
Adding this value to my life is indescribable. I'm a better person because of this company. I'm still shy, but I'm 100x's better than I was a year ago. My confidence is beyond comparable. I have built lifelong relationships that I would have NEVER been exposed to. I am now debt free and $13,500 richer than I would have been if I would have said no.
My life has made a complete 360 in the past year and I LOVE it. Here's to the next one. Can't wait to see you all in Cancun April 2015!
