This recipe came as a shocking surprise to me! When I put it in the crockpot, I won't even lie to you, it smelled funny! So my expectation weren't set high. But once again, my expectations were surpassed! This is REALLY good! I of course took out the black olives cause' that's just gross! Ha!

Ingredients
2# bonesless, skinless chicken breast
1/8 tsp black pepper
2.5 oz Jalapeno Pepperoni
1 cup organic, low sodium chicken broth
2 TBSP tomato paste
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp basil
3/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions
1. Place the chicken in the bottom of your crockpot and sprinkle tops with black pepper.
2. Add in pepperoni into crockpot on top of chicken
3. In a small bowl, whisk together chicken both, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and dried basil.
4. Pour tomato paste mixture over chicken.
5. Cover slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
6. Remove chicken from the slow cooker, once chicken is fully cooked. Shred with forks.
7. Return chicken back to the crockpot and mix well with remaining liquid.
